Our PTFA is a friendly group of volunteers, made up mainly of parents and grandparents of children at our school, who give their time to raise funds and support the school in providing the very best experiences and opportunities for our children.
Throughout the year, we organise a variety of events and activities, including school discos, Secret Shops, book stalls and other fundraising events, as well as coming up with new ways to raise money and bring our school community together.
The money we raise is used in lots of different ways. One of our current priorities is IT equipment, and we're really proud to have already funded a number of Chromebooks for use by children across the school.
We also make contributions towards school trips and activities, helping the school to keep the cost to families as manageable as possible. Alongside this, some of the funds we raise are available to provide additional, confidential support where the cost of a trip or activity might otherwise make it difficult for a child to take part. Our aim is simple – wherever we can, we want every child to have the opportunity to enjoy the experiences school has to offer.
Everything we achieve is thanks to the time given by our volunteers and the fantastic support we receive from families, staff and the wider school community. Whether it's attending a disco, buying from one of our stalls, supporting a fundraiser or volunteering to help, it all contributes to what we're able to provide for the children.
We're always happy to hear new ideas and welcome anyone who would like to get involved. There's no expectation of a big commitment – our PTFA is simply a friendly group of people working together to do something positive for our school and its children.
Thank you for supporting our PTFA and helping us make a difference.
Thank You! Community Spirit!
Our fantastic children visited the local supermarket for a charity Bag Pack, helping shoppers and raising vital funds for our community.
